Change in Date and Venue for World Taekwon-Do 2023

We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are writing to inform about
a Significant change regarding the upcoming ITFHQ Korea Open World Championships 2023. After careful consideration and thorough evaluation Of various factors, We have decided to Change the date and Venue Of the championships. previously scheduled for November 2023 in the UK, we have now rescheduled the event to take place in April 2024 in Ireland.
There are two primary reasons behind this decision, which we believe are crucial for the Success and convenience Of our participants:
Brexit Visa problems
We understand that several countries participants have been facing difficulties in Obtaining Visas due to the complex post-Brexit regulations. To ensure that all athletes, coaches, and Officials can participate Without hindrance, we have chosen Ireland as the new Venue, where Visa procedures are expected to be more Streamlined.
Clash With World Trampoline Championships
Coincidentally, the World Trampoline Championships are also scheduled for the same weekend in November in Birmingham, UK. This has presented Challenges in terms of Venue availability and accommodation, as both events attract a large number Of participants and spectators. To avoid any logistical issues and conflicts, We have opted for a different date and location.
By rescheduling the World Taekwon-DO Championships to April 2024 in Ireland, we aim to provide a more inclusive and seamless experience for everyone We understand that this change require adjustments to your plans, and We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.However, We firmly believe that this decision will result in a more enjoyable and successful event for all participants. Our primary focus is, and has always been, to deliver a world-class Taekwon-Do Championship that celebrates Skill, sportsmanship, and unity.
We Will be working Closely with the organizing committee to ensure a smooth transition and provide you with updated information about the event as Soon as possible.
